The bending machine is the core equipment in sheet metal processing. Its structural strength and deformation control directly affect the processing accuracy and safety. For each machine, during the design stage, ZYCO engineers will simulate the stress state of the bending machine through static stress analysis, which can find the weak points of the structure in advance, optimize the design and reduce costs. In this article, we will take a WE67K series 110T/3200 bending machine as an example to show the finite element analysis of the frame structure.

Ⅰ. Stress analysis of maximum yield force

Usually, the bending machine will choose Q235 steel as the main material of the bending machine. We obtain the maximum yield force value by applying a full load pressure of 1100000 N to the machine, which is completely in line with the maximum limit that the frame can withstand when the machine is fully loaded.

Ⅱ. Stress analysis of maximum displacement

The maximum displacement refers to the maximum deformation of some stress-bearing parts of the frame when the machine is subjected to a certain pressure. From the diagram, we can see that the maximum deformation of ZYCO's frame when it is subjected to full load pressure is much less than 0.1mm, which has reached a high level in the industry.

Conclusion: ZYCO has very strict design process and review standards for each bending machine. Every high-quality bending machine must start with design and finite element analysis, which is the greatest guarantee for customers.
